Our Pediatric dental clinic in North York is looking for an enthusiastic dental hygienist to join our team! The eligible candidate would be need to be available Mondays and Thursdays. Our hours of operation may range between 6:30am and 6:30pm.

Duties include:

patient screening procedures; such as assessment of COVID-19, oral health conditions, review of the health history, oral cancer screening, head and neck inspection, dental charting and taking blood pressure and pulse
processing items through the sterilization process using IPAC requirements
taking and developing dental radiographs
removing calculus and plaque from all surfaces of the teeth
applying preventive materials to the teeth
teaching patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
counselling patients about good nutrition and its impact on oral health
performing documentation
Following CDHO guidelines
keeping the clinic at a high level of organization
administration tasks as required by management

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 20 per week

Schedule:

10 hour shift
8 hour shift
Day shift
No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

North York, ON M3C 3L2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
