Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality patient care and will possess a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices. This role involves working closely with patients to educate them on oral health and assist in maintaining their dental hygiene. A background in pediatrics or orthodontics is a plus, as well as proficiency in Dentrix and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and performing oral examinations.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Assist in the management of patient records using Tracker software.
Provide support to the dentist during procedures as necessary.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
Foster positive relationships with patients through excellent customer service.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Requirements

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Experience in pediatrics or orthodontics is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with Tracker software is a plus.
Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
Previous experience in dental assisting is advantageous.
Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply for enhanced patient communication.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour
