Canterra Dental, a well established dental office in downtown Calgary is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. You will work closely with the dentist and other dental professionals to ensure optimal oral health for our patients.
```Responsibilities```
- Perform dental cleanings and oral exams
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Administer local anesthesia as needed, laser certified is a plus
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients
```Qualifications```
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in Alberta
- Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Familiarity with Dentrix is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
