Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional dental care to our patients while promoting oral health education. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced non corp dental office environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patient oral health.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- take Itero scans and utilize it to educate patients
- Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Maintain a sterile and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their concerns and answering questions regarding treatments.
Qualifications
- Valid BC license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
- Experience in a dental office setting is preferred.
- Proficiency with Cleardent / tracker or similar dental software is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills, ensuring a positive experience for all patients.
- Previous experience in dental assisting can be an advantage but is not mandatory.

Job Type: Permanent
Pay: $56.00-$60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
