Location: Acreview Dental & Comox Valley Implants – Courtenay, BC
Schedule: Fridays 8:00 am - 4:00 pm with an hour lunch. Additional days/hours can be added if desired.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree program.
- Certification: Registered as a Dental Hygienist in the relevant province of occupation.
- Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience: Ability to multi-task and organize a fast-paced daily schedule. Experience working independently within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Proficiency: Proficient in computer skills, including practice management software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Your Responsibilities
- Perform all aspects of clinical hygiene services, including scaling, root planning, polishing, and topical fluoride treatments.
- Case type patients based on clinical protocols.
- Act as an oral health educator, promoting preventative care and guiding patients in good oral health practices.
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with patients.
- Deliver a personalized experience tailored to each patient’s needs and expectations.
