One of our hygienists is retiring. We are sad to see her go, but are excited to meet you! We are seeking a caring and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our experienced dental team. We are a solo, non-corporate dental office that has been in Kelowna for many years with a long-time, faithful dental hygiene patient base. If you enjoy what you do and want to treat patients who are appreciative of your services, this is the opportunity for you. There are no production quotas - treat each patient according to their dental hygiene needs. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient experiences while ensuring the highest standards of oral health.
Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings for patients of all ages.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Document patient care and treatment plans accurately.
- Maintain sterilization of instruments and adhere to infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their concerns and questions regarding treatments.
- Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experiences and outcomes.
Requirements
- Valid license to practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist in British Columbia.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $54.00-$63.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
