Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of maintaining good dental health.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental software.
Manage patient appointments and follow-up care, providing exceptional customer service.
Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in continuing education as required.

Skills

Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
Experience in dental assisting is a plus.
Excellent customer service skills to enhance patient experience.
Familiarity with Curve or similar dental practice management software is advantageous.
Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to a diverse patient base.
Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred.
