Responsibilities:

- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Conduct oral cancer screenings
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical coding systems such as Epic, Dentrix, or Eaglesoft

Qualifications:

- Valid dental hygienist license in [state]
- Associate's degree in dental hygiene (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- CPR certification
- Proficient in using dental software systems such as Epic, Dentrix, or Eaglesoft
- Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
